This market was created for three reasons: to bring producers and consumers into direct contact, to encourage people to buy produce that is in season rather than out of it, and to introduce visitors to the farming businesses working the land around Arco.
Rather than going through intermediaries, shoppers buy straight from the people who grow the food, at a market held on Viale delle Palme.
