About the event

The antiques market in Valeggio sul Mincio was started in June 1994 by the Associazione Percorsi. It takes place every 4th Sunday of the month, in Piazza Carlo Alberto and the streets of the historic centre.

The market hosts more than 100 exhibitors, carefully selected by the organisers to ensure high-quality, refined and original pieces, appreciated by casual visitors as well as by enthusiasts and demanding collectors.

Among the stalls you can find antique and mid-century furniture, prints, carpets, coins, antique books, English porcelain and silverware, curtains and furnishing fabrics, and other finely crafted objects.

Antiques and vintage market

Running since June 1994, this is one of the area's best-known antiques markets. More than 100 exhibitors, chosen by the organisers, set up beneath the town hall and the towers of the Scaliger castle. Stalls offer antique and mid-century furniture, prints, rugs, coins, old books, English porcelain and silver, and furnishing fabrics, for both casual visitors and serious collectors.

Getting to Valeggio sul Mincio

Valeggio has no railway station (its old Mantova–Peschiera line closed in 1967); the nearest is Peschiera del Garda on the Milan–Venice line. By car it is a short drive south from the Peschiera del Garda exit of the A4. By bike, follow the Mincio cycle path from Peschiera.
