About the event

A local guide leads participants on a walk to discover the truffle grounds and the secrets of these local treasures. The walk includes a visit to an exhibition set up by the Associazione Tartufai Bresciani, followed by Aperitartufo, a truffle-based tasting.

Departure is at 9.30 am from the Tignale Tourist Office, in Gardola. The walk is also offered on Sunday 4 October. Comfortable clothes, trekking shoes and water are recommended. Difficulty level 1/5, booking required.

Getting to Tignale

From the Gardesana Occidentale between Gargnano and Limone, a side road climbs to the plateau. By public transport, take the train to Desenzano del Garda, Arriva bus LN027 to Gargnano, then local line LN011 (Gargnano – Muslone/Tignale). The nearest motorway exits are Desenzano del Garda on the A4 (via Salò) or Rovereto Sud on the A22 (via Riva).

Ferry: Tignale has its own Navigazione Laghi pier at lake level, but in the summer 2026 timetable only a couple of boats a day called there; check the current timetable.

About Tignale

Tignale is not one village but six: Gardola, the seat of the comune at about 560 metres, and Piovere, Prabione, Aer, Olzano and Oldesio, scattered across a green terrace high above the west shore.
