Spokes of Design – Bicycles between ingenuity, art and innovation from the Carosini Collection

About the event

The exhibition "Raggi di Design" traces the evolution of the bicycle over the last century through fifty iconic models, chosen for their innovative materials, aesthetics and use of pioneering techniques.

This research shaped the "Carosini Collection", an extraordinary collection of two hundred bicycles by the same author. Bicycles of this kind are held by some of the world's most prestigious museums of modern art.

The exhibition also features the New01Bike, the first bicycle in the world with a polymer frame entirely 3D-printed, created by the startup eXgineering.

Getting to Nago-Torbole

Take the A22 exit Rovereto Sud/Lago di Garda Nord and the SS240 to Nago, where the road drops to Torbole. Trentino Trasporti buses run from Rovereto station to Torbole, Riva and Arco. Torbole is also a stop on the Navigazione Laghi boat line to Riva, and cycle paths link it with Arco and Nago.

Ferry: Stop on the Navigazione Laghi line between Riva del Garda and Limone/Malcesine and the southern lake; not every run calls here, so check the timetable.

About Nago-Torbole

Nago-Torbole is two villages in one municipality: Torbole on the shore at the mouth of the Sarca, and Nago on the rocky shelf above it, where the road from Rovereto first reaches the lake.
