61st Festa del Donatore in Lazise

About the event

On Sunday 27 September 2026, Lazise hosts the 61st Festa del Donatore, organised by AVIS and AIDO di Lazise to celebrate the value of donation and thank those whose donations help save lives.

The day includes a parade through the streets of the historic centre, accompanied by the Corpo Bandistico, a solemn Mass, and a ceremony at the Dogana Veneta where AVIS donors receive awards of merit and AIDO donors receive recognitions.

Afterwards, there is a convivial gathering with refreshments and risotto at the Dogana Veneta. For times and the full programme, see the event poster.

Getting to Lazise

Lazise has no railway station; the nearest is Peschiera del Garda on the Milan–Venice line, and ATV (Azienda Trasporti Verona) buses link the lakeside towns with Peschiera and Verona. Drivers usually leave the A4 at Peschiera del Garda or the A22 at Affi. Navigazione Laghi boats call at Lazise.

Ferry: Lazise is on the Navigazione Laghi line along the eastern shore between Peschiera and Bardolino/Cisano; no car ferry.

Parking: The historic centre is a limited-traffic zone (ZTL) with camera-controlled access, so park outside the walls and walk in.

About Lazise

Lazise is a compact walled town on the south-eastern shore, between Bardolino and Peschiera. Its Scaliger walls still ring the centre, and the Castello Scaligero stands at the southern edge beside a fortified harbour.
