Festa dell'Uva e del Vino, Bardolino

About the event

The 95th Festa dell'Uva e del Vino runs from 1 to 5 October 2026 along the lakefront promenade in Bardolino, closing out the summer season with a programme built around Bardolino wine, one of Verona's best-known wine styles.

Over the five days there are evening music concerts, food and wine kiosks, promotional stands for Bardolino wine, the investiture of new members of the Confraternita del Vino Bardolino, an opening folk parade through the historic centre, and performances by the Filarmonica di Bardolino with vocal and instrumental concerts and live music.

Bardolino wine is described as bright ruby red, delicately fruity and fragrant, with a dry, soft taste, balance and considerable drinkability, thanks to the morainic hills and Lake Garda that shape the area's main native grape varieties: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara.

Getting to Bardolino

By car, leave the A22 at Affi – Lago di Garda Sud. The nearest station is Peschiera del Garda, from where ATV line 483 follows the shore through Lazise to Bardolino; lines 162–164 run from Verona, also bookable with a train as Garda Link. Boats stop at Bardolino and Cisano.

Ferry: Regular stop on the Desenzano–Riva line; the hamlet of Cisano has its own stop just to the south.

Bardolino is the wine town of the east shore: its name is on the light red Bardolino DOC, the Bardolino Superiore DOCG and Chiaretto rosé, grown on the moraine hills behind the lake around Calmasino and Cisano.
