Every Tuesday morning, a market fills the centre of Castelnuovo del Garda, with numerous stalls set up along Via Marconi, Via Cavour and Via Umberto I.

The stalls sell food, fruit and vegetables, clothing, shoes, linens, jewellery, toys, local products and craft goods, covering a broad mix of everyday shopping and artisanal items.

Tuesday weekly market

Castelnuovo's weekly market is held on Tuesday mornings in the centre of the main town, just inland from the lake. Stalls sell groceries, fruit and vegetables, clothing, shoes, household linen, costume jewellery, toys, local products and crafts. It is a market mainly for residents.

Getting to Castelnuovo del Garda

Castelnuovo is a few minutes from the Peschiera del Garda exit of the A4 motorway. The nearest main railway station is Peschiera del Garda on the Milan–Venice line, where a shuttle bus runs to Gardaland. ATV buses connect the area with Verona and the lake towns.

About Castelnuovo del Garda

Castelnuovo del Garda lies just inland from the south-east corner of the lake, 18 km west of Verona, and is best known as the home of Gardaland. The theme park opened in 1975 and has grown into a resort with around 38 attractions, eight roller coasters, a SEA LIFE aquarium, the LEGOLAND Water Park and three themed hotels.
