Camminata della Commissione Sentieri del CAI Desenzano: Anello del Madergnago, sentiero 801A verso Ca' del Diaol, Vallio di Sotto, Monte Reciago e l'abbazia di Maguzzano, poi verso Lonato e ritorno. Dislivello irrilevante, circa 5 ore più le soste, difficoltà T (turistica). Partenza dal parcheggio di Sant'Angela Merici, inizio alla bacheca CAI di via Vighenzi.

Getting to Desenzano del Garda

Desenzano del Garda station is on the Milan–Venice railway and has a tourist infopoint; it is also the nearest station for Sirmione. The A4 motorway has two exits in the municipality, Desenzano and Sirmione. Navigazione Laghi boats and fast services leave from the harbour for Sirmione and the whole lake up to Riva.

Ferry: Desenzano is the southern terminus of the lake network and the seat of Navigazione Lago di Garda's operations office; both ordinary boats and fast services (servizi rapidi, supplement payable) run from here to Riva. No car ferry.

Desenzano is the largest town on Lake Garda, with about 29,000 residents, and the south-western shore's hub for trains, boats and nightlife.
