Sailing Excursion aboard the Circe

About the event

Brenzone sul Garda is again offering a sailing excursion aboard the Circe, a large historic sailing ship.

The excursion runs every Wednesday from mid-June to mid-September, with departures from Castelletto harbour, Magugnano pier and Assenza pier for an evening sail of about two hours.

The last two excursions, on Wednesday 23 and Wednesday 30 September, depart earlier: Castelletto at 17:00, Magugnano at 17:15 and Assenza at 17:30.

Getting to Brenzone

By car, the A22 exit Affi – Lago di Garda Sud is the usual approach from the south, Rovereto Sud – Lago di Garda Nord from the north; the road then follows the east shore. There is no railway on this side: use Peschiera del Garda or Verona, or Rovereto to the north, and continue by ATV bus along the shore (lines 483 and 484 serve the Garda–Malcesine stretch). Boats stop at Assenza, Brenzone and Castelletto.

Ferry: Navigazione Laghi has three stops here – Assenza di Brenzone, Brenzone and Castelletto – on the Desenzano–Riva line, with fewer calls than Malcesine or Garda.

Parking: Paid parking is available close to the Acquafresca and Magugnano beaches.

Brenzone sul Garda is not one town but sixteen hamlets strung along about 9 km of the east shore and up the lower slopes of Monte Baldo.
