Brenzone sul Garda is not one town but sixteen hamlets strung along about 9 km of the east shore and up the lower slopes of Monte Baldo.
On the water sit Assenza, Porto, Magugnano, the municipal seat, and Castelletto, each with a small harbour or a pebble beach; higher up, Sommavilla, Biaza, Prada and the medieval village of Campo sit among centuries-old olive trees.
There is no single centre to stroll, and that is the appeal: it is quieter than Malcesine to the north or Garda to the south, with a lakeside cycle-footpath linking the shore hamlets and a 20 km Nordic walking network climbing between them.
Romanesque San Zeno de l'Oselet at Castelletto, the excavated Roman villa and the Prada–Costabella cable car onto Monte Baldo add variety. The municipality added 'sul Garda' to its name in 2014 after a local vote. Brenzone suits families, walkers and windsurfers who want space and a slower rhythm rather than shopping streets and nightlife.

Campo di Brenzone

Getting there and around
- By car
- By car, the A22 exit Affi – Lago di Garda Sud is the usual approach from the south, Rovereto Sud – Lago di Garda Nord from the north; the road then follows the east shore.
- Train and bus
- There is no railway on this side: use Peschiera del Garda or Verona, or Rovereto to the north, and continue by ATV bus along the shore (lines 483 and 484 serve the Garda–Malcesine stretch). Boats stop at Assenza, Brenzone and Castelletto.
- By boat
- Navigazione Laghi has three stops here – Assenza di Brenzone, Brenzone and Castelletto – on the Desenzano–Riva line, with fewer calls than Malcesine or Garda.
- Parking
- Paid parking is available close to the Acquafresca and Magugnano beaches.
