About the event

This concert is part of 'Musica classica in Chiesa', a series organised by pianist Stefano Romani together with the Pro Loco, returning after last year's success. Across several summer Sundays it brings classical music concerts to Brenzone's medieval churches, sometimes with vocal accompaniment by opera singers.

This date takes place during Holy Mass at the Chiesa di San Bartolomeo in Prada Bassa on Tuesday 29 September at 10:30, with musical accompaniment by Maestro Stefano Romani on piano and mezzo-soprano Ida Maria Turri.

An aperitivo will be offered to everyone present afterwards. Entry is free, subject to availability. For the occasion, Brenzone is providing a shuttle bus between Brenzone and Prada and back, with two runs; the shuttle must be booked at the Ufficio IAT, subject to availability.

Getting to Brenzone

By car, the A22 exit Affi – Lago di Garda Sud is the usual approach from the south, Rovereto Sud – Lago di Garda Nord from the north; the road then follows the east shore. There is no railway on this side: use Peschiera del Garda or Verona, or Rovereto to the north, and continue by ATV bus along the shore (lines 483 and 484 serve the Garda–Malcesine stretch). Boats stop at Assenza, Brenzone and Castelletto.

Ferry: Navigazione Laghi has three stops here – Assenza di Brenzone, Brenzone and Castelletto – on the Desenzano–Riva line, with fewer calls than Malcesine or Garda.

Parking: Paid parking is available close to the Acquafresca and Magugnano beaches.

About Brenzone

Brenzone sul Garda is not one town but sixteen hamlets strung along about 9 km of the east shore and up the lower slopes of Monte Baldo.
