What you find
One of the largest markets on the lake, with 259 pitches (222 all year, 37 more from April to September). Most stalls sell clothing, household goods and accessories; food stalls are grouped in Via Anelli and the Maratona car park, including a few pitches for farmers.
Tips
The market streets are closed to traffic on Tuesday mornings. When Christmas or New Year's Day falls on a Tuesday, the market is held on the Sunday before.

Getting to Desenzano del Garda
Desenzano del Garda station is on the Milan–Venice railway and has a tourist infopoint; it is also the nearest station for Sirmione. The A4 motorway has two exits in the municipality, Desenzano and Sirmione. Navigazione Laghi boats and fast services leave from the harbour for Sirmione and the whole lake up to Riva.
