About the event

In October, as autumn begins to colour the shores of Lake Garda, Lazise becomes the honey capital. From 1 to 4 October 2026, I Giorni del Miele returns, a national fair now in its 47th edition, celebrating bees, beekeeping and the richness of hive products.

Walking through the streets and squares of the historic centre, visitors can follow the scents and flavours of honeys from different Italian regions, meet beekeepers and producers, and discover the varieties and traditions linked to honey.

The fair is also a chance to get closer to the world of bees and their role in the environment: talks, demonstrations and educational activities let adults and children observe the work of bees and the secrets of beekeeping.

Set between Lazise's historic centre and its lakefront, the event brings together nature, tradition, culture and gastronomy, tracing honey's journey from hive to table.

Pacengo weekly market

A Saturday morning market all year round in the village of Pacengo, south of Lazise. Stalls sell groceries, fruit and vegetables, clothing, shoes, household linen, costume jewellery, toys, local products and crafts. It is a neighbourhood market for everyday shopping.

Getting to Lazise

Lazise has no railway station; the nearest is Peschiera del Garda on the Milan–Venice line, and ATV (Azienda Trasporti Verona) buses link the lakeside towns with Peschiera and Verona. Drivers usually leave the A4 at Peschiera del Garda or the A22 at Affi. Navigazione Laghi boats call at Lazise.

Ferry: Lazise is on the Navigazione Laghi line along the eastern shore between Peschiera and Bardolino/Cisano; no car ferry.

Parking: The historic centre is a limited-traffic zone (ZTL) with camera-controlled access, so park outside the walls and walk in.

About Lazise

Lazise is a compact walled town on the south-eastern shore, between Bardolino and Peschiera. Its Scaliger walls still ring the centre, and the Castello Scaligero stands at the southern edge beside a fortified harbour.
