About the event

From 13 June to 30 November, the halls of the Museo Palazzina Storica in Peschiera del Garda host the group exhibition “La Grande Guerra: tra memoria e colori”. The exhibition weaves together history, emotion and contemporary art, proposing an artistic journey through time dedicated to the First World War.

It is an opportunity to reflect on history through the lens of contemporary art, in a setting of significant cultural and symbolic value.

Getting to Peschiera del Garda

Peschiera del Garda station is on the Milan–Venice railway, with regional and fast trains from Verona, Brescia and Milan. By car, use the Peschiera del Garda exit of the A4. Navigazione Laghi boats connect Peschiera with Sirmione, Desenzano and the eastern shore, and a shuttle runs from the station to Gardaland.

Ferry: Peschiera is the south-eastern terminus of the Navigazione Laghi network (Peschiera–Riva is one of the day-pass zones); no car ferry.
