About the event

Italian Opera Concerts is a musical project founded in 2012 by Maestro Eduardo Hurtado Rampoldi, bringing together young talents and established professionals to perform Italian opera.

The concerts take place in the Sala della Disciplina in Bardolino, on Lake Garda, with a programme of well-known arias and duets by Puccini, Verdi, Donizetti, Rossini and Mozart, including music associated with Mimì, Tosca, Madama Butterfly and La Traviata.

Getting to Bardolino

By car, leave the A22 at Affi – Lago di Garda Sud. The nearest station is Peschiera del Garda, from where ATV line 483 follows the shore through Lazise to Bardolino; lines 162–164 run from Verona, also bookable with a train as Garda Link. Boats stop at Bardolino and Cisano.

Ferry: Regular stop on the Desenzano–Riva line; the hamlet of Cisano has its own stop just to the south.

About Bardolino

Bardolino is the wine town of the east shore: its name is on the light red Bardolino DOC, the Bardolino Superiore DOCG and Chiaretto rosé, grown on the moraine hills behind the lake around Calmasino and Cisano.
